For as long as I can remember I've always had a strong love of photography, from spending large chunks of time going through my family photos as a kid, to getting my first camera, to realizing that photography is what I wanted to do with my life as a career, it's always been there.

Deciding what to specialize in was not hard for me, since next to photography, animals, and children are two other strong loves for me. Dogs and children give you selfless love, they always find a way to make you smile, and are always there by your side to show you how much they love you. I spent some time earlier on in my life caring for others fuzzy loved ones in an animal hospital. Doing this just cemented to me how much I truly cared for these furry family members and just had to make them part of my life's work.

I realized how much I love to work and play with children gradually as my life progressed, from babysitting as a young adult to playing with and helping care for my nieces and nephew now. Wanting to capture children's smiling faces for their families to remember and for the children themselves to see when they grow up was just not an opportunity I could ignore.

As a photographer my style is as far away from rigid, posed, and uncomfortable looking as can be. I capture both children and canine in their own environment, where they are most comfortable and most likely to have fun and give me that natural smile, giggle or show me where their favorite place to bask in the sun is.
